We Sold Our Florida House

Well, it is official. We are no longer Florida residents. We sold our Florida house. Last year, we moved to Nashville. It was one of the best decisions we ever made. Nashville is, without a doubt, the right place for our family.

I know I recently wrote about another house in Florida, my childhood home. My parents sold that one a month or so ago. And they bought our house! So we don’t have to (totally) say good-bye to the house we love.

This, our PSL house, is the first home Stu and I purchased together. For the first few years of our marriage, we lived in the townhouse I purchased after college. Then we rented for a while. In 2017, Stu and I bought a new construction home in Port St Lucie. It was the perfect size for us. At the time, we only had Reagan and Riley. It was in this house that we found out we were pregnant with Remy. And this is the house we brought him home to from the hospital.

The post about buying our Florida house.

It seems as though we have been buying and selling lately. I suppose that is simply because the process to actually purchase a house is one of the longest things ever! It is soul-sucking. I hope we never do this again… at least not for a decade or two.

Some Highlights from our Florida house:

The Florida house will always be a happy place for us. We have the best memories there. Indulge me for a moment while I walk down memory lane.

The weekend that we moved in was chaotic. Stu and I closed on the house, then Reagan and I went to Disney World to run a 5K race with my sisters. Click the photo below to see a video tribute to our PSL memories.
