April in Quarantine
We, like most of the country, spent April in quarantine. Honestly, not much has changed since my last update. I have been cooking and baking all the time. My dishwasher is exhausted and wishes I would go back to work. I do too. But it’s not in the cards yet.
We have been living our best lives. A few weeks ago, Riley said to me, “I know Corona is bad and all, but this is seriously the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I love being home.” Awe, my fellow introvert. I know how you feel Bud.
April 2020 was a lot of school, walking around the neighborhood, trying new recipes, watching TV, online Bible classes, celebrating Stu’s 42nd. All in all, it was a good month.
Oh, and we took down the crib. Remy never slept in it. He is (by far) the worst sleeper of all the kids. I thought maybe he’d be happier in a bed, since he loves sleeping in mine. I ordered a Privacy Pop bug net tent to keep him locked in.
He LOVES it.
During the day.
Not at night.
He still won’t sleep unless he is with me. Sometimes I get frustrated by it. But I try to remind myself he is the last little Stu (unless God has surprise plans for us). One day I will miss this.
Yep, that’s my daily mantra. One day I will miss this. One day I will miss this.
One day I’ll miss this. One day.
Pin it, if you want to.
