Chili Cheese Dip
If you come to our house on a Saturday in the fall, you can bet this will be served. My family is obsessed with this chili cheese dip. Actually, in our house it is called “football dip”. It is SO simple to make.
For this, you’ll need one block of cream cheese, one can of chili, and one package of shredded cheese. Let the cream cheese soften on your counter for a while. When it’s soft, preheat your oven to 350°F. In a pie dish, spread the cream cheese along the bottom. Next spread the chili over the cream cheese. And finally, cover with shredded cheese.
This needs about 30 minutes in the preheated oven.
Let it cool for a few minutes before digging in. This will be the most difficult step.
Feel free to jazz it up a bit. Sometimes I add pickled jalapeños to the top.
Let me know if you make it.
Enjoy!
