Spicy Spring Picnic Pork
Trying to figure out what to do with that pork butt? Throw that sucker in the crockpot with a few other ingredients from your pantry. In 8-10 hours, you’ll have the most scrumptious spicy spring picnic pork sandwiches.
This is one of the easiest recipes I have. And I am all about easy.
Grab all the ingredients and throw them into the crockpot. Isn’t the crockpot the most glorious thing ever? The worst part is smelling all the deliciousness for hours before it’s done.
Spicy Spring Picnic Pork Sandwiches
Equipment
- Crockpot
Ingredients
- 3-4 pound boneless pork shoulder
- 1 bottle BBQ sauce
- 12 oz Dr. Pepper
- 1 pkg Buns
Instructions
- Put the pork into your crockpot (I used a 7-quart crockpot).
- In a bowl, mix the BBQ sauce and Dr. Pepper together. Pour this mixture over the pork.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 8-10 hours. (I pulled mine out at 9:30 hrs. On a cutting board, I shredded it and put it back in the crockpot for another 30 minutes.)
Enjoy!
